Media Arts Alliance

The Media Arts Alliance (MAA) is a global network of community and technical colleges from the United States, Europe, and South Africa that are working together to apply their collective expertise and resources to continually develop and improve education, training, and economic opportunities associated with the convergence of new digital technologies and the entertainment industry.

It seeks to build greater awareness among industry and the public about programs and services offered by community and technical colleges; to identify and map career ladders and economic opportunities in the industry; to establish partnerships with industry; to improve access and retention for marginalized students and non-traditional learners; to stay at the forefront of changing industry standards and structure; and to foster improvement and innovation in curriculum, programs, teaching methods, advising, and services.
