First this report provides an overall scan of entrepreneurship education in the United States. Second, it examines the criteria that define best practices, with examples of different approaches, and develops a continuum of pedagogies that exist. Third, it presents a description of Central Louisiana’s entrepreneurial assets and infrastructure, an examination of metrics, and a recommendation of the Best Practices that are most instructional for the region’s current status. Fourth, it offers a summary of ninety universities and community colleges, sixteen best practices, and a five best practice case studies findings and actions recommendations for building a strong post-secondary entrepreneurship education and training presence in Central Louisiana.
